Dr. Joanne Thomas believes a great dental visit starts with genuine connection, clear communication and mutual trust. Drawn to dentistry by its unique blend of art and science, she loves using technical skill and creative detail to help patients feel healthy, comfortable and confident in their smiles. She practices comprehensive general dentistry with a special interest in preventive care and pediatric dentistry. She takes pride in creating positive, encouraging experiences for young patients early on. Recognizing that dental visits can be intimidating, she prioritizes a collaborative approach by listening to each patient's goals and building a personalized path to oral health together.

Originally from Massachusetts, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2019. Dr. Thomas is dedicated to lifelong learning, constantly expanding her clinical expertise to ensure the highest standard of care. She regularly completes advanced post-graduate training and is certified in Invisalign, alongside coursework with Spear Education and Molis Coaching. This dedication to continuous learning allows her to bring modern techniques and the highest quality of care to Mustang North Dental.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Thomas’ life centers on community and family. Oklahoma quickly became home after she relocated here. She even convinced all four of her siblings to move to Oklahoma! She loves calling Mustang home with her husband of ten years, their two daughters, and their family Dachshund. You can often find her running (including finishing the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon), playing board games with her family, or singing and teaching Sunday school at her local church. She is thrilled to serve as a true neighborhood dentist, caring for families across every stage of life.
